Overview

Browse and discover public healthcare evaluations, clinical tools, and screening instruments shared by organizations across the EVAL community.

The Marketplace is EVAL's public catalog of healthcare evaluations, clinical tools, and screening instruments. Organizations across the EVAL community publish evaluations here for anyone to discover, try, and add to their own Library — giving you access to validated tools without building them from scratch.

What you'll find

The Marketplace contains evaluations that organizations have set to Public visibility and formally published. These range from standardized clinical screening instruments (PHQ-9, AUDIT-C) to specialized assessment tools developed by research institutions and healthcare systems. Every evaluation in the Marketplace is available to try immediately — you can run it in the Player right from the listing, without adding it to your Library first.

The Marketplace home page is organized into three areas: a Featured spotlight at the top highlighting curated evaluations, a search bar for finding specific tools, and collection bands that group related evaluations by clinical topic.

If you're setting up a new clinical program and need standard screening tools, start in the Marketplace. You'll often find validated instruments that you can add to your Library in seconds rather than building them yourself in the Builder.

At the top of the Marketplace, a rotating spotlight highlights evaluations selected by the EVAL team. Each spotlight card shows the evaluation name, publishing organization, a brief description, and two action buttons: Read More (opens the evaluation's About page with full details) and Play (opens the evaluation in the Player so you can try it immediately).

The spotlight cycles through featured evaluations automatically, and you can navigate between them using the pagination dots below the carousel.

Collections

Below the spotlight, evaluations are organized into collections — curated groups built around clinical themes like "Mental Health Essentials" or "Surgical Outcomes." Each collection appears as a horizontal band showing up to nine evaluation cards, with a View All link to see the complete collection.

Collections are managed by the EVAL team and can be time-limited — some may appear during specific awareness months or conference seasons, then rotate out. See Collections for details on browsing and navigating collections.

Evaluation cards

Evaluations appear as cards throughout the Marketplace — in collection bands, search results, and collection detail pages. Each card shows the evaluation's name and publishing organization, along with the organization's logo when available. Click any card to open the evaluation in the Player, where you can answer questions and view results without adding it to your Library.

Marketplace cards show the evaluation name and organization only — there are no ratings, usage counts, or verified badges. To learn more about an evaluation before trying it, click into it and select About from the Actions menu to see the summary, supporting literature, and tags.

Adding evaluations to your Library

When you find an evaluation you want to use with your patients, you can add it to your Library directly from the evaluation's Actions menu. This creates a reference to the evaluation in your Private Library — the original stays in the Marketplace, and you get convenient access from your Library without duplicating anything.

If you later decide you no longer need an evaluation, use Remove From My Library in the Actions menu. This only removes it from your Library view; the evaluation remains available in the Marketplace for anyone to access.
