Settings

I DON'T BELIEVE SETTINGS IS VALID ANYMORE. HIDING THIS PAGE FOR NOW UNTIL I CONFIRM THAT, THEN THIS PAGE CAN BE DELETED. NEED TO FIND WHERE THE VISIBILITY IS NOW SET THOUGH AND COPY CONTENT FROM THIS PAGE TO ANOTHER PAGE.

Each application contains a Settings page to copy a direct link to the application and change its visibility.

Navigate to Settings by one of the following means:

  1. Click the privacy icon when running the application in player, OR
  2. Select Settings from the 3-dot menu for the application

The following page displays:

Owner

This is a view-only reference to the account that owns the application.

Direct Link

This is a link to the application that was created based off the slug that was identified when creating the application. Navigate to the Applications page for more details.

To copy the link, click on the paper icon to the left of the link.

This will copy the link for the application to the clipboard. Use standard paste actions (i.e. ctrl-v for edit/paste in most browsers) to paste the copied link.

Visibility

Choose the visibility for the application:

Options include:

  • Public - all EVAL members can access the application
  • Account - all EVAL members within the account can access the application as well as any collaborators and invited members
  • Private - only the application owner and any collaborators and invited members can access the application

📘

Once you change the visibility setting to public for an app, the visibility must remain public as long as another member has it in their library.

This is an important concept, as it is assumed that when members add applications to their libraries, it will be live within a clinical setting and a part of its clinical workflows. All members that are using that application need the assurance that it will not be removed ad hoc.

As a result, only when no members have the application in their library can the visibility change back to 'Account' or 'Private'. If the application has a malicious intent, EVAL Health corporate will have the ability to remove it.

Applications are set to private by default. Navigate to the Collaborators and Members pages for details on managing that content.
